Chris Evans

Chris Evans is best known as the presenter of the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, which is Europe's most popular radio programme. He's previously worked in radio at BBC Radio 1, Virgin Radio, BBC GLR and Piccadilly Radio. He also presented Top Gear for one series, hosts The One Show irregularly, and earlier in his career presented a number of programmes for Channel 4, including game show Don't Forget Your Toothbrush and the chat show TFI Friday.

In the 2017 BBC earning figures release, Chris Evans was said to be earning around £2.2m from the BBC.

Chris is leaving BBC Radio 2 on Christmas Eve 2018 to join the second incarnation of Virgin Radio at Breakfast from January 2019.

On Twitter, he describes himself as: “Host of The Virgin Radio Breakfast Show with Sky, creator of CarFest, custodian of 500 Words. But mostly punching way above his weight in the marriage dept.”
