Birmingham local TV licence transferred

Ofcom has taken the decision to allow the transfer of the local TV licence for Birmingham from the administrators of the licensee BLTV Limited to Kaleidoscope TV Limited.

Ofcom will allow Kaleidoscope TV Limited up to 28 February 2015 to launch the service.

BLTV Limited was awarded the licence in November 2012 and went into administration in August 2014.
