Talk is a national tabloid newstalk radio station for the UK.
The station offers news coverage and talkback output, featuring Mike Graham, Julia Hartley-Brewer, Ian Collins, Jeremy Kyle and Kevin O'Sullivan on weekdays. The format is similar to the Australian 2GB, the UK's LBC, or many services in the US and Canada.
"Talk Radio UK" was the original incarnation of what's now known as talkSPORT: this station is also run by talkSPORT's parent company News Broadcasting, a subsidiary of the Rupert Murdoch owned News UK.
Between April 25th 2022 and 28th April 2024, Talk became a simulcast of TalkTV. The majority of the output was produced by TalkRadio complete with tv cameras in the radio studio with prime-time programming from TalkTV.
TalkTV ceased transmission in April 2024 and reverted back to a radio station complete with a schedule designed for radio with an online video stream for the radio station output rather than using television studios for output.
