Facts and stats
SWU.FM is a youth-led station, with a focus on urban, electronic and dance music genres.
The station serves 15-30 year olds in Bristol and its music and arts community, particularly those with an interest in youth-led music cultures. SWU.FM meets the needs of the target community as part of a grass roots gateway into broadcasting, youth-led music programming and training.
The station took a break from broadcasting in September 2022 due to financial issues, however in 2023, the station was acquired by London's Rinse FM and relaunched in September 2023.
