He’s most recently been the News Director of Sinclair Inc.‘s CBS affiliate serving the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast, and President Trump’s Florida residence. Come April 21, he’ll be taking similar duties at the company’s ABC affiliate serving the Nation’s Capital — and the White House.

Earning the ND position at WJLA-7 in Washington, D.C., is Jon Brady.

And, it is a return for Brady to D.C., as he began his career at FOX Television Stations’ WTTG-5 in Washington. Before joining WPEC, he served as Executive Producer of KNSD-TV (NBC7) in San Diego.

“We are excited to have Jon lead our talented news team with his extensive broadcasting expertise to help grow our broadcasting, social and digital platforms,” said WJLA VP/General Manager Todd Bernstein. “He will be an excellent asset to our newsroom to deliver high-quality, informative, and engaging news for our viewers and followers.”

Brady, who is a graduate of George Washington University, commented, “WJLA is one of the great news operations in one of the best news towns in the world. I can’t wait to get back [to Washington], roll up my sleeves and get to work alongside this brilliant and dedicated team to hold our elected and appointed leaders accountable, solve problems and get answers to the questions that mean something to the people and families in the communities we serve.”

Brady has also served as Executive Producer of KING-TV in Seattle, and as Director of News Content for “Q13”, the FOX affiliate in Seattle then-owned by Tribune Co. From 2003 through September 2010, Brady was Western Bureau Chief for Fox News Channel.
