Rogers Q2 Results Lag Street Forecasts

As Rogers Communications President/CEO Tony Staffieri sees it, one Canada’s biggest owners of radio and television stations delivered strong results in the second quarter and continued to demonstrate “solid momentum” in its core businesses.


However, the company’s earnings per share in Q2 2023, despite increasing 13.4% year-over-year, missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 9.5%, as Rogers’ revenue also failed to make Zacks’ forecast — even with a 24% year-over-year gain.
