2025 CommsCon Awards shortlist revealed
The 2025 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards shortlist has been revealed.
As always, the CommsCon Awards will celebrate the best of the best, giving attendees the opportunity to highlight their achievements across the various campaign, people, and business categories.
Wired Co leads the pack this year with seven nominations across Best Campaign with a Small Budget, Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year, Best PR-led Brand Partnership Campaign, Best Influencer Strategy, and PR Agency of the Year – Midsize.
Ogilvy PR has also received seven nominations at this year’s awards for Best Social Media or Digitally-led Campaign, Best Use of Owned Media, PR-led Content Creation, Launch or Relaunch Campaign of the Year, Pro Bono Campaign of the Year, PR Agency of the Year – Large, and Ogilvy Health’s Best Non-Traditional Business Opportunity.
Poem landed six nominations, while We Are Different – which has just launched a dedicated social division – has landed five – including Best Social Media or Digitally-led Campaign.
Hopeful Monsters and Eleven have also picked up five nominations, while Mango Communications has landed four.
Havas Red has picked up three nominations across PR Agency of the Year – Large, Best B2C Campaign, and Best Use of Owned Media.
There are three people categories this year, including the tight race for Best New PR Talent of the Year – for which the nominees are up-and-comers Anna Hobdell from The Lottery Corporation, and Bella Devencorn from Ivy PR.
The full nominees list is below.
The live judging day will take place on February 26, before the 2025 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards on March 27 at Ilumina, a unique, state-of-the-art space located in the heart of Sydney’s historical and cultural civic centre of Martin Place.
The awards will follow the 2025 Mumbrella CommsCon Conference, where speakers include Tinder’s director of comms, Kirsty Dunn, IKEA’s head of comms, Patricia Routledge, and agency leaders Rob Lowe, Elly Hewitt, and Hannah Moreno, amongst others.
Additionally, the CommsCon newsletter is hitting your inboxes fortnightly, led by Mumbrella associate editor, Lauren McNamara. You can subscribe via the link below.
Editor’s note: Mumbrella has changed the way it deals with company names. House style is now to use standard proper noun capitalisation on all names regardless of brand typography. Brand typography may be retained in direct quotes from releases.
