
1m viewers watch ABC Insiders on Sunday
Viewers turned to David Speers and co. to try and make sense of a dramatic Election night.

Never mind primetime, the real story in Sunday ratings was happening in morning television where ABC Insiders drew a massive audience of 1.02m -the biggest crowd all day outside of news bulletins.
Meanwhile Travel Guides topped entertainment at 984,000 then The 1% Club (880,000), The Piano (745,000 from 7:30pm and MasterChef Australia (604,000).
Later 60 Minutes drew 688,000 then 7News Spotlight (626,000), Bergerac (539,000) and a Matlock double (259,000 / 240,000).
Seven won Sunday.
Seven News averaged 1.33m
Nine News was #1 at 1.36m for Nine. The Killer Interview with Piers Morgan was 357,000 then Nine News Late (181,000).
ABC News was 1.01m. Compass (283,000) and The Split (180,000) followed.
10 News First pulled 332,000 for 10. The Sunday Project was 297,000.
On SBS it was SBS World News (247,000 / 156,000), while Machu Picchu: City of Stone and Invasion: The Normans are both TBA.

I watched Insiders….but at 1.30PM…a repeat…On the ABC News channel,. not listed…I turned on to watch news …but I was glued to it for and hour and a half…
I’ve got no idea how far back the records go, but I wonder if that’s the highest rated episode of Insiders, in the shows history.
Loved The Piano last night, beautiful series and definitely tugs at your emotions.
