[V] is a music television channel owned and operated by Foxtel Networks. It first launched as Channel [V] on 22 April 1995, with a secondary channel, Club [V] (later Channel [V]² and [V] Hits) launching in 2004.
On 25 March 2016, [V] Hits replaced Channel [V]'s slot on the Foxtel programme guide, with the launch of a +2 hour timeshift channel. On 1 November 2017, [V] Hits and [V] Hits +2 relaunched as [V] and [V] +2 respectively.
