GTFM have announced the return of their motoring show Driver's Seat, presented by Ian Edwards.

Driver’s Seat will return on Thursday the 30th of April (from 7pm) with a 2 hour special about classic cars and motorsport.

Ian will be speaking to a number of event organisers about their events. He will also be speaking to the members of various clubs about the events they will be organising and involved with, plus the ones they are most looking forward to in 2015.

For the second edition of the new series, Driver’s Seat will revert to its traditional 60 minute slot (less music and more “torque”) on the first Thursday of every month, from the 4th of June, starting at 7pm. The three remaining shows planned for the summer of 2015 will be broadcast live on the 2nd of July, the 6th of August and finally the 3rd of September.

Driver’s Seat originally ran from 2008 to 2011 and will again feature not only famous and well known names from the world of motoring, but also car enthusiasts themselves. Giving those enthusiasts not only the opportunity to share their passion but to also promote their clubs and any events they maybe involved in organising. Nicky Grist, Richard Noble, Mike Brewer, Steve Cropley (the Editor-in-chief of Autocar) Louise Goodman, Matt Wright (then editor of Practical Classics), Rauno Aaltonen, Tony Mason, and Richard Parry Jones CBE (the man responsible for the original Mondeo, Focus, Puma and Ka) were just some of those who featured in the 2008 to 2011 editions of Driver’s Seat.
