In September 1998, this Class B AM serving Southern California cities including Lancaster, Palmdale, Ridgecrest and Barstow was acquired by Randy Michaels’ Jacor Broadcasting, and later ended up in the hands of iHeartMedia predecessor Clear Channel Communications. Since the end of 2011, it has been owned by Saul Rosenzweig.
