Nova FM gets community radio licence for Newport

We are pleased to announce that Nova FM has been awarded a Community FM license by Ofcom to provide a radio service to Newport (Shropshire) and the surrounding areas for a 5 year period.
Joint Managing Director Nick Gee said: “This has been 3 years in the making and involved an incredible amount of hard work from everyone at Nova FM. It’s great that Ofcom has recognised this and we can’t wait to get started!”
Dale Talbot, the other Managing Director, would like to thank all who have helped to make this possible and look’s forward to the future on FM.
Nova FM have been broadcasting online since January 2012 from studios on the High Street. The station provides a service designed to inform and entertain the local community through combining a diverse mix of music, local news and information about local events.
Nova FM will be launching on FM in 2015 but in the meantime you can listen live on our website; www.novafm.co.uk.
