BOCA RATON, FLA. — After many years of appearing as a guest on several shows each week, a Radio Hall of Fame inductee who became an icon as a fiercely conservative Talk host is getting his own one-hour prime-time program each Sunday on the Chris Ruddy-helmed Newsmax cable TV news network.
Michael Savage will bring his Savage Nation brand to the channel starting January 26 at 8pm Eastern.
Savage created a cult following as a radio host with a nationally syndicated program that aired between 2003 and 2020. Today, his “Savage Nation” podcast is listened to by more than 20 million people. He is also the author of nine New York Times best-sellers and more than 25 books.
Newsmax describes The Savage Nation as “a rallying cry for those who believe in preserving America’s fundamental identity—its ‘Borders, Language, and Culture.’
Ruddy commented, “For decades, Michael has been a leading conservative voice, and we are pleased to bring his insightful and thoughtful take on politics and culture to our audience.”
Savage rose to fame at KSFO-AM in San Francisco in early 1995, after serving as a fill-in host for Ray Taliaferro at the former KGO Radio.
Love you and your passion for MY country. Thanks so much for all you do. I watch Newsmax all the time and love your input. If you need anything from a red blooded American I’m here for you with anything you need. I’m a 40 year driver at UPS so I know what hard work is. Please utilize my time.
I’d love to help our movement.
