Hayley Donaghy has been appointed Managing Director of Cameo Productions, the Mayfair-based broadcast consultancy.
Formerly Cameo’s Director of Publicity, 31-year-old Hayley steps up to replace James Kleinmann, who has moved to New York.
She assumes full responsibility for Cameo’s daily operations and client relations. She will manage its ten-strong team and ensure that the services and consultancy it offers remain cutting-edge in a fast-moving industry.
Phoebe Winter has also been promoted from senior producer to Head of Production. Kerri-Anne McNally becomes Senior Publicist.
Founded by broadcaster Hilary Oliver in 1990, Cameo is unrivalled as an audio production house and broadcast PR consultancy specializing in radio publicity services for the film and entertainment industries. Its client list includes virtually every distributor, from Hollywood studios to independent and arthouse companies. Its Oddyo asset hub makes audio publicity material easily available to accredited radio producers worldwide, while its studio off New Bond St hosts radio days and ISDN junkets for clients from all industries.
“Hayley is certainly young for someone assuming such a senior role, but in her five years with Cameo she has proven that she has the industry knowledge, management skills and judgment to run this business,” said Hilary Oliver, Cameo’s chair. “Hayley’s clients and staff have the greatest respect for her. And it is particularly pleasing to be promoting a young woman into such a senior role.”
Hayley said, “I feel privileged to lead such a reputable company and stellar team. It is an exciting time for Cameo as radio is one of the only media platforms growing its reach and our clients increasingly rely on our expertise to access this complex, exciting and essential medium.”
