An AM, its FM translator companion, and a full-power FM radio station serving communities due east of the Atlanta metropolitan area are being sold, with the buyer being assisted by Jon Yinger of Broadcast Properties LLC.
Class A WMOQ-FM 92.3 in Bostwick, Ga.; and “Good Time Oldies” WKUN-AM 1490 and W273DL at 102.5 MHz in Monroe, Ga. are being acquired by Marcus McCain and his Sugar Valley Broadcasting.
The seller is Bostwick Broadcasting Group and Charles David Bishop, as executor of the late Bernie Ray Anderson.
A $395,000 payment has been agreed to by the parties; a $5,000 escrow payment is being held by Fortson, Bentley & Griffin P.A.
