A Capital Scotland listener has won the prize of a lifetime after being the last contestant standing in the It's About Who competition on air.

Colette Scullion, 23, from Dumbarton, walked away with the incredible prize of a Fiat 500, holiday to Paris, VIP tickets to see Jason Derulo and the ultimate night out, courtesy of Capital FM and Arnold Clark. After a gruelling three weeks of being on air every morning answering questions, competing against 14 other contestants, Colette reached the final on Friday morning. She pipped fellow finalist, Jan Tyler, to the post to win the biggest prize the station has ever given away.

Colette Scullion said: “I’m so excited, it doesn’t even feel real! I’ve never won anything in my life and now I’ve won the ultimate prize!”

Capital Scotland breakfast presenters, Des and Jennie, said: “We’ve loved running It's About Who on breakfast. After receiving thousands of entries, we whittled it down to 15 fantastic contestants who gave us all a laugh with some of their answers and stories! Colette is a worthy winner and we hope that she enjoys every part of this unbelievable prize!”

Claire Morrison from Arnold Clark, said "We're thrilled with the response from Capital's audience to take part in this competition; from the initial concept to the execution on-air, it's all been fantastic. We were all by our radios every day to hear the contestants on with Des and Jennie. We hope Colette loves her car, holiday, gig experience and ultimate night out!"

The competition, in partnership with Arnold Clark, which has been running on air since 1st September, also had an online element where listeners could find out more about the contestants and back their favourite to win, giving them the chance to scoop £1000 if their favourite was the ultimate winner.
