Alan Jones

Alan Jones is the host of the breakfast show on 2GB and 4BC in Australia, and broadcasts a mix of opinion pieces, interviews and phone-ins. He is, by many measures, Australia's most listened-to radio personality. In November 2014 he celebrated being the most-popular breakfast show in Sydney for 100 surveys. As of mid 2017, he was still the top-rated breakfast host in the city.

A former rugby union coach, Alan Jones broadcast on 2UE from 1985, switching to 2GB in 2002. He is regularly seen on ABC television's Q&A. He lives in Sydney, but grew up in Queensland, and taught at Brisbane Grammar School. He is a climate-change denier and has been the subject of many upheld complaints by the broadcasting watchdog.
