BT Group plc, trading as BT, is a British multinational telecommunications services company with head offices in London, England, United Kingdom. It has operations in around 170 countries.
BT became a broadcaster in 2013 when they launched BT Sport and acquired ESPN UK, a previous rights holder of British Premier League Football.
In 2015, BT went into partnership with AMC Networks International to launch AMC, a general entertainment channel, BT's first foray away from sport with exclusive rights to show the channel on it's IPTV service BT TV and to BT Sport customers on Sky.
