Could you be our new Modern Gardens Garden Editor/Writer?

The Garden Editor’s role is key to supporting the Editor.  It carries the responsibility to build our readers’ confidence without making them 'learn gardening'.

Key responsibilities include researching, planning and producing compelling, original content to our readers, packed with the best advice. You’ll relish the challenge to understand what the readers want from their outside space and what ideas they will get passionate about.

You will have lots of experience in originating, researching and writing features packed with useful content and hitting tight deadlines.   As the gardening expert on the team you will understand all aspects of gardening to ensure plant advice is right, but have an ability not to talk down to the readers.

This is a key role in a small but brilliant team of professional and committed individuals.

We are ideally looking for someone who can be based in the office in Peterborough 22.5 hours a week, but would consider some flexibility for the right candidate.
